Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed its second pre-order bonus for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales — early access to Miles’ spidey suit from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. In an 11-minute gameplay video, Sony and developer Insomniac Games showed off the suit and its stylish animation style that makes the game feel just like the movie.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse production designer Justin K. Thompson said the Spider-Verse team advised Insomniac Games on the “unique design elements that make the film so distinct.” The effect, which appears to have Miles Morales operating on a slower frame rate, looks stunning in game.
When Miles Morales is fighting in the suit, his action is highlighted by comic book-styled word balloons, like “Zap!” and “Thonk!”

The other pre-order suit is the TRACK Suit designed by Marvel artist Javier Garrón for the Miles Morales: Spider-Man comic. There’s also the Gravity Well Gadget and an extra skill points available for pre-order customers. The two pre-order bonus suits will be available for everyone, according to Insomniac Games — but people who pre-order will get the suit on launch day. “The bonus is early unlocks, not exclusive content,” the developer said in a tweet.
